Happy Chinese New Year!

-

Yesterday was filled with family time of hand-shaking, prosperity wishing and Ang Pao(!!) receiving. Shoving down hours and hours of food, steamboat style or not, has never been this guilt free. For once too, i indulged in Lou Hei a little too much as it has proven much to be the secret to great makings of the future.

Reunion meal(s) was 3 rounds of swishing soup ladles admist the 2 hot steamboats slurping the best Sea Cucumber soup broth and putting everything in my favourite handmade chilli sauce. Like how Kylie Kwong would describe it as "This is a magical moment", it indeed is, not only in satisfiying my stomach but also in increasing my waistline.

I've been particularly delighted about this year's celebration for some reason. Eye bags and the worst flu ever are the results of lack of sleep due to new year excitement. As of now, i've to stop shoving way too much food down my throat and nurse the painful nose.

Kiss me, beneath the milky twilight.

A few good TV recommendations this festive season. Believe me, these 2 shows will get you hooked.

1) What Star Did You Come From? (Starhub Cable Ch 55)
Korean shows never fail to make me use up boxes of tissue for crying over too funny and sad moments.

2) Hana kimi (Starhub Cable Ch 9)
The funniest yet, cross dresser on the most hilarious Taiwanese drama serial to date.
